Amarena Cherry
Amarena cherry is a small, bitter, dark-colored Italian cherry grown in Bologna and Modena, two cities of Italy. The cherries are slowly cooked and semi-candied in copper pots. The gelato is a sweet cherry flavour, and also contains chunks of Amarena cherries inside. -
Black Sesame
Black seeds tend to be nuttier and smokier, whereas white seeds tend to be more duller and, perhaps, sweeter. The taste difference is very subtle. Buko Pandan
Pandan leaves are used widely in South Asian and South East Asian cooking as a flavouring where it infuses the food with notes of corn and a slight nuttiness. Pandan paired with coconut creates the flavour Buko Pandan.Allergy Notice: This flavour will NOT activate any nut allergies. -
Chocolate Amarena Cherry
Old-Fashioned Chocolate + Amarena Cherry = the best of both worlds!! Semi-dark chocolate gelato made with added amarena cherry syrup and loaded with amarena cherries. -

Dark Side of the Moon
It's about as dark as chocolate gelato gets! 99% cocoa, but the Avalon milk ensures that it's not too bitter.

Earl Grey tea is a black tea blend with the addition of oil of bergamot. We use Mighty Leaf Tea to make our EGT.

Essex is a Fior Di Latte Gelato with added Vancouver Island Sea Salt. If you're looking for a simply salty flavour, this is the way to go! -
Fior di Latte
Italian for "Flower of Milk", it refers to gelato in its purest form – just sweetened milk, no flavourings, no egg yolks. Think of it as a gelato-flavoured gelato! -
Hazelnut

London Fog
Our Earl Grey Tea gelato with added vanilla bean.

A classic gelato flavour, using the finest vanilla beans that Madagascar has to offer. -
Mint Chocolate Chip

Nutella
Nutella spread is blended into our Old-Fashioned Chocolate, giving it a nice balance of chocolate and hazelnut.

Old-Fashioned Chocolate
A classic in any Gelateria, OFC is a simple chocolate gelato made with a high quality Dutch-process, Holland cocoa powder. It's a semi-dark chocolate, coming in at 64% cocoa, but the Avalon milk makes it taste much lighter!

Organic Matcha Green Tea
Matcha is a Camellia Sinensis green plant grown in shade for 3 weeks before it's harvested. We use DoMatcha's Organic Green Tea powder to make our Matcha gelato.Did You Know?: You can order matcha as a drink at Bella Gelateria! Try our Matcha Green Tea Latte. -
Osmanthus Flower
Also known as Devilwood, this plant is often used in traditional Chinese medicine, believed to improve complexion and help rid the body of excess nitric oxides. -
Salted Caramel
Made using the traditional latin methodology of Dulce de Leche, condensed milk is slow cooked until it reaches a dark brown color, then blended for smoothness and used to create the caramel flavour profile. To give it that perfect balance of salty and sweet, the gelato is salted with Vancouver Islad Sea Salt. -
Salted Chocolate
Old-Fashioned Chocolate gelato is blended with Vancouver Island Sea Salt to make this salty treat. -
Stracciatella (Chocolate Chip)
A Fior di Latte gelato filled with fine, irregular shavings of chocolate. If you're looking for cookies-and-cream style flavours, this is the way to go!Did You Know?: This flavour was originally created in Bergamo, northern Italy, in 1962, and was inspired by stracciatella soup, made from egg and broth, which is popular around Rome. -
Thai Coconut Milk
In the spirit of using quality ingredients, we use Aroy D Thai Coconut milk, which uses 100% coconut milk, to make this gelato. This gelato is also textured by coconut shavings.

Toasted Pecan
We take roasted pecans and liquify them into a salted pecan gelato, using Vancouver Island Sea Salt, that we then load with chopped pecans. Served with maple syrup, Toasted Pecan creates a perfect blend of sweet, salty and nutty.Did You Know?: This gelato is our signature flavour! It won 2012's best gelato flavour overall in Florence, Italy! -
Wickedly Burnt Caramel
We cook caramel until it gets really dark and a bitter taste starts to emerge. This creates a bittersweet caramel, similar to caramel candy. Along with some Vancouver Island Sea Salt, we add a little burnt caramel inside the gelato, added as a sauce swirled in throughout the gelato.Did You Know?: It takes several days to cook the caramel before we get that bitter taste!

Amarula Cheesecake
Amarula is a fruit found in Africa that ferments naturally. It is then transformed into a cream liqueur which resembles Bailey's Irish Cream. We've paired it with cream cheese to create Amarula Cheesecake gelato.Available during December. -
Aphrodite
Love never tasted so sweet! This white chocolate gelato is filled with an aphrodisiacal pomegranate sauce throughout.

Bailey’s Irish Coffee
Tastes a lot like Bailey's Irish Cream, but with that special hit of coffee flavour at the end.

Banshee
Banshee is an irish cream stout made by Old Yale Brewery, a local BC Brewery found in Chilliwack. When you taste it, it begins with an Irish Cream flavor, followed with nice notes of coffee and finishes with a slight stout bitterness.Available during December. -
Chocolate Guinness Gelato
Celebrate the luck of the Irish with Bella! This special sorbetto is a perfect mix between dark chocolate and the classic Irish stout.

Cupid’s Delight
We work with Krause farms to provide fresh-frozen berries off-season, providing a rare oppourtunity to have strawberry gelato – a traditional summertime staple – in the chill of winter. As an added bonus, white and dark chocolate sauces are added to make a variety of chocolate chips throughout the gelato!

In honour of International Womens' Day, we've crafted a special Mimosa Cake gelato filled with custard.

Lohin McKinnon Whisky Fudge
Lohin McKinnon is an award-winning Whisky made by local distillery Central City, found here in Vancouver. We turn that whisky into gelato and add a fudge chocolate sauce, swirled throughout.

Love Potion Sorbetto
A handcrafted frozen dessert cocktail sorbetto to toast your love! In collaboration with Central City, we use a rose-petal infused Queensborough Gin, topped off with Hopping Mad Cider to make a luxurious blend to share with that special someone.

Pudin de Pandebono
What happens when life gives you Pandebono? You make a scrumptious cheese bread gelato! Inspired by our 2018 Hot Chocolate Festival contribution, which included serving toasted Pandebono alongside specialty hot chocolates. Includes chunks of Pandebono bread throughout the gelato.

Vietnamese Coffee
Traditional Vietnamese coffee is done using Vietnamese dark roast coffee and slow dripping over condensed milk. Our Vietnamese style Coffee uses Pacific Roasters coffee and made with condensed Avalon milk. If you're looking for a lighter take on Espresso, this is the solution!Available during January and February. -
Winter Spiced Cider Sorbetto
Made from Ward's Winter Spiced Cider via The View Winery in Kelowna, BC. The cider has been spiced with some cinnamon, cloves and other festive spices. The sorbetto is 100% cider – no milk, no water! – with no dilution at all.Available during December.Did You Know?: The View Winery is one of BC's very few female-owned wineries. -

A blend of carrot and black cardamom, it starts off by bringing out the carrot's dessert-like sweetness, but finishes with the smoky notes of the black cardamom. Black cardamom is a middle eastern spice which gets its smokiness from the drying process; not to be confused with regular or green cardamom.Available during November. -
Jack on Jack, Honey
Made from Jackfruit and Honey Jack Daniels, it's a very refreshing flavour with a tropical twist. Jackfruit is a widely cultivated and popular food item throughout the tropical regions of the world.Available during November.Did You Know?: Jackfruit is the national fruit of Bangladesh. -

Creamsicle
Inspired by the frozen dessert, Creamsicle blends orange and vanilla together into a fruity sorbetto. Despite its name, Creamsicle doesn't use any cream; the sorbetto's water base allows us to recreate the icy feel of enjoying a traditional creamsicle. -
Dark Chocolate
A sorbetto made of 85% dark chocolate from Michel Cluizel chocolate. It's a strong blend of bitter and creamy, truly embodying what dark chocolate tastes like.

Yuzu Citrus
Yuzu is a citrus fruit thought to be a cross between a true lemon and either a mandarin or common orange. It is rarely eaten as a fruit, though in the Japanese cuisine, its aromatic zest is used to garnish some dishes, and its juice is commonly used as a seasoning. Despite its similiarities to lemon, yuzu isn't sour at all; in fact, it's quite refreshing!
